Sysco Memphis is looking for a Marketing and Graphic Design Specialist in its Customer Resources Department.The selected applicant will provide specialized services in the marketing of goods and services. Enhance customer relationships through individualized design of artwork and layouts for flyers, newsletters, and printed materials for sales and promotions. Will work with customers to assess needs and create marketing materials for increasing customer profitability. Also works with initiatives to include email marketing, direct marketing, tradeshow development, etc. Acts as coordinator for projects from initial start-up to completion - including announcements, supplier confirmations, flyer design and layout, tracking data, updates, billing and other essential components. Assists with the development, writing, and communication of Marketing promotio recaps, creative briefs, project recommendations, and presentations. Create artwork to include; newsletters, newspapers, full color fliers, advertising, and other special design projects such as posters, banners, menu boards etc. Work with customers and sales associates to create menus to enhance customer sales and profitability. Conduct weekly promotion tracking of sales data using Business Intelligence software and communicate results. Expertise to prioritize task completion with competing demands where limited standardization exists. EDUCATION and/or BACKGROUND Associate's degree required with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Must have a min of 3 years progressively responsible work history with prior demonstrated skill in marketing, advertising, or other related business discipline strongly preferred.COMPUTER APPLICATIONS Demonstrated knowledge and background in the use of pc''s with demonstrated practical working understanding of various software applications is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Design software; Internet software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Microsoft word Processing software.LANGUAGE SKILLS Expertise to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
