1974 Norton Commando in Memphis, TN

I went and got it last winter and did several upgrades:Installed an oil filter.Installed stainless oil linesI had to re-spoke the front rim, stainless Buchanan spokes; now perfectI had to overhaul the front brake, new piston/O-ringsThe tank had come from a bad batch of paint; that's a week-old $500 paint job on there, all catalytic primer, gold, red, and clear over decals. While I was at it I got a perfect job with POR-15 liner. It is a stell tank.Installed K&N air filter; I have the original airbox.I changed the oil twice, full synthetic the second time. That oil has maybe 300 miles on it.The tires are import knock-off dunlops that Drake put on 2 years ago, hardly any wear. We shined her up and it looks great, there are a couple of minor dings, from 10 feet it looks just out of the crate; it always starts second kick cold, first kick hot. Runs true,very fast; instruments and switches all just fine. The primary cover/O-ring leaks a little.
